Situated near the Dutch city of Maastricht and close to Aachen in Germany, this airport holds significant importance primarily for freight traffic while also serving low-cost and charter airlines. Known locally as Vliegveld Zuid-Limburg, Maastricht Aachen Airport sits in a strategic location about 10 kilometers northeast of Maastricht and 30 kilometers northwest of Aachen, making it a key hub in the region for commercial air transport.

A notable feature of this release is the recreation of the Maastricht Upper Area Control Center (MUAC), operated by Eurocontrol. This control center oversees the upper airspace in northwest Germany, the Benelux region, and northern France. The add-on also comes with a wealth of custom 3D objects and details.
