AG Sim Releases Calais Dunkerque Airport
AG Sim has released their latest add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing the Calais-Dunkerque Airport to life. Known as Aérodrome du Grand Calais, this airport is located in Marck, just 7 km east-northeast of Calais in northern France. With historical ties to cross-Channel services in the 1950s, the airport once served as a hub for car ferry flights operated by Silver City Airways and Channel Air Bridge. Today, Calais-Dunkerque Airport is a vital regional facility, primarily used for pilot training and touristic charter flights. Positioned just south of the English Channel, it plays a key role in local aviation activities.
AG Sim's virtual rendition includes detailed 3D buildings and 8K PBR textures. The airport features a fully modeled helipad, open hangars with parking lots, and designed ground and traffic signs. A highlight of this release is the living atmosphere created through 3D people and other special details, giving the airport a busy, functional feel.
Calais-Dunkerque Airport is priced at $10.99 USD excl. VAT at now available on Flightsim.to.
