Atelic Releases Luxembourg Airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator

Luxembourg Airport (IATA: LUX, ICAO: ELLX) has long been a key European hub, despite the small size of the country it serves. Located just minutes from Luxembourg City, Findel Airport is the nation’s only international gateway and one of the continent’s busiest cargo centers. Its 4,000-meter runway supports operations from regional aircraft to intercontinental widebodies, while its position as home to Luxair and global freight carrier Cargolux underscores its strategic importance in both passenger and cargo aviation.

Developer Atelic has released a highly detailed rendition of ▶️ ELLX for Microsoft Flight Simulator, available in versions for both MSFS 2020 and the new MSFS 2024. The scenery reflects the airport’s real-world 2025 layout changes and introduces a large number of custom features aimed at recreating both airside and landside environments with high accuracy. The add-on offers a handcrafted model of the airport with a fully realized terminal interior, detailed Luxair and Cargolux hangars — including accessible interiors —and a wide range of custom clutter and service vehicles.

Atelic has also extended the coverage beyond the airport itself, adding hotels, office buildings, warehouses, and other recognizable structures to provide authentic surroundings during arrivals and departures. Beyond aviation infrastructure, the scenery introduces unique features such as an animated airport tram with functional stations and signaling, custom roads, and bespoke vegetation. The package also includes modeled interiors for general aviation hangars, a detailed control tower, and a set of key landmarks to enhance VFR approaches into Luxembourg.
