Barelli MSFS Addons Releases Addis Ababa Bole International

Barelli MSFS Addons has released a new add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator: Addis Ababa Bole International Airport (HAAB), bringing this key East African aviation hub to life with detailed and faithful features. Located in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia, Addis Ababa Bole International (IATA: ADD) serves as the main gateway to the country and is an essential base for Ethiopian Airlines, which connects Africa to destinations across Asia, Europe, and the Americas. The airport's location, 2,300 meters above sea level, adds an additional layer of realism and challenge for virtual pilots navigating through this high-altitude hub. Originally known as Haile Selassie I International, the airport has expanded significantly in recent years to accommodate increased international traffic, with more than 380 daily flights as of recent counts.

Highly detailed models with high-resolution textures cover the airport’s two terminals, 11 gates, and extensive apron areas. Realistic and dynamic lighting enhances visibility, especially during night operations, while custom taxiway signage, animated windsocks, flags, and jetways add depth to the airport’s activity. Notably, the add-on includes updated terrain profiles, track elevations, and signage that mirror the airport’s real-world layout. Its upgraded parking facilities, which can accommodate larger aircraft such as the Boeing 747 and Airbus A340.

Priced at $15.95 (excluding VAT), Addis Ababa Bole International is now available for purchase on the Flightsim.to Store.
