Situated just 10 miles south of Daytona Beach, New Ymyrna Beach Airport boasts a rich history, having served as a naval training facility during World War II. Today, it operates as a bustling hub for flight training, with Epic Flight Academy and AirGate Aviation among its key tenants. The airport’s active control tower supports the high volume of training traffic daily.
This add-on faithfully reflects the airfield's layout as of 2024, including updates such as the realignment of Taxiway C at the Runway 29 threshold and the extension of Taxiway E to the south ramp. CAT3Dual Studios has also introduced custom models for buildings across the airport, including the fire and police stations located on its southern end. Attention to detail extends to lighting and signage, with medium-intensity runway edge lights, directional threshold lights, and PAPI systems on multiple runways.
