Cli4D Designs has released their MSFS2024-native version of the Bora Bora Improvement Project. Located in the South Pacific, Bora Bora is often recognized for its striking natural beauty, characterized by turquoise lagoons, dramatic volcanic peaks, and a distinctive circular reef. It offers an engaging backdrop for both scenic flights and low-altitude exploration. The "Bora Bora Improvement Project" for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 builds upon this by providing a series of enhancements aimed at delivering a more immersive and detailed version of the island.

The add-on focuses on improving the visual and environmental fidelity of Bora Bora. Updates to major landmarks such as Mt. Pahiya and Mt. Otemanu refine the island’s terrain and elevation profile. The mod introduces additional tropical vegetation to better reflect the local flora and makes several shoreline adjustments, including new 3D rock models, to enhance the coastal experience.

The project adds more docks, static and animated boats, as well as missing huts and resorts. The addition of animated sea life and birds also contributes to a more lively and dynamic atmosphere, especially for users flying at lower altitudes or exploring the area on foot. There are also fictional scenes incorporated to add more visual interest. For existing users of the 2020 version, a discounted upgrade path is available.
