A new freeware add-on brings a custom cabin interior to the FlyByWire A32NX, addressing one of the aircraft’s longstanding omissions in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Developed by TheRedFox, the “FlyByWire Cabin Addon” introduces a virtual passenger cabin to enhance immersion for users of the popular open-source Airbus A320neo mod.

The A32NX has been known for its systems depth and continuous updates. However, until now, it lacked a modeled cabin — something this add-on aims to provide. While still in its early stages, the mod includes a custom-designed cabin interior and support files tailored for livery creators to customize their textures.

Notably, the cabin does not suffer from environmental visual glitches like rain inside the aircraft, which can occur with incomplete or improperly implemented cabin models. The developer has noted one limitation involving the beacon light effect bleeding into the cabin, which stems from an existing simulator limitation rather than the mod itself. Future updates are planned to include night lighting and a more detailed galley. Installation is straightforward, involving unzipping the provided folder and placing it in your MSFS community folder.
As a freeware release, you can ⭐ download the add-on from Flightsim.to. If you find value in the add-on, consider supporting TheRedFox through a donation to encourage future development.
