Located off the western coast of Kyūshū, Gotō-Fukue Airport (RJFE) serves as the primary gateway to the Gotō Islands in Nagasaki Prefecture. Known locally as both Gotō-Fukue Airport and Gotō Tsubaki Airport, the airfield connects this remote island community to the Japanese mainland and takes its “Tsubaki” name from the camellia trees for which Fukue Island is famous. With a single runway and limited facilities, it plays a vital role in regional transport and tourism.

The add-on provides a complete recreation of the airport environment, including an accurate airfield layout with custom ground textures, parking stands, and runway markings. Devinci has modeled key airport structures such as the terminal, control tower, and hangars, all rendered with high-quality 4K PBR textures for a realistic appearance under varying lighting conditions. The level of detail extends to the surrounding airport grounds, making approaches and departures over the island’s rugged landscape more authentic. While the developer notes a minor texture issue when used in Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024, the scenery functions correctly in the 2020 edition. A compatibility update is already in progress.
