💠Dfflyer Direct has released its latest scenery enhancement for Microsoft Flight Simulator, focusing on one of Detroit’s most vibrant and historically rich areas — Midtown. The 👉 Midtown Detroit, Michigan City Pack is available now on Flightsim.to and is fully compatible with both MSFS 2020 and MSFS 2024.
Developed by a Detroit native with more than two decades of local experience, this add-on aims to capture the unique character of Midtown, an area known for its blend of cultural landmarks, major hospitals, and university life. Unlike Dfflyer Direct’s Detroit, MI & Windsor, ON City Pack, which covers the broader downtown and cross-border regions with over 200 handcrafted structures, this pack zeroes in on Midtown’s distinctive urban landscape.
The scenery includes more than 70 handcrafted buildings, each recreated with attention to architectural detail and local accuracy. Notable landmarks include the Detroit Medical Center, Children’s Hospital of Michigan, Harper University Hospital, and Henry Ford Hospital — all modeled with precision and realistic proportions. Wayne State University’s main campus is represented with detailed academic buildings, while cultural icons such as the Detroit Public Library and the Detroit Institute of Arts have been recreated to reflect their real-world counterparts.
Night lighting has also been enhanced, adding a layer of immersion when flying over the city after dark. For those familiar with the Detroit area or simply looking to expand their collection of detailed urban environments, this release offers an authentic and performance-friendly addition to the simulator.
