EuroScene Releases Freeware for Palma de Mallorca Airport

EuroScene has released a new freeware add-on for Palma de Mallorca Airport (LEPA), enhancing the popular Mediterranean destination with custom-built features. Known for its scenic location and status as a key hub for both leisure and regular commercial flights, Palma de Mallorca’s Son Sant Joan Airport sees a realistic revamp in this community-created scenery.

EuroScene's LEPA includes custom 3D models for each terminal, a selection of hangars, the control tower, and several VOR/ILS antennas. Ground details have been carefully designed, with updated taxiway lighting, parking spaces, and realistic markings. Although only the terminals — not the main building or tower — have modeled interiors, these are visible from both inside and outside. The add-on also covers various airport surroundings, including nearby streets and parking areas, striving to capture a close replica of the real airport’s layout and design.

For GSX users, the specific profile can be downloaded here. For users without GSX, a non-GSX version is available, and both can be easily installed by placing the selected version into the community folder. Some known issues are present, including floating gate signs if the GSX profile is not installed, minor jetway misalignment with certain gates, and potential conflicts with the Andres3d airport lights mod, which can cause duplicate floodlighting.

This scenery add-on is free for the community, and if you enjoy using it, consider supporting EuroScene with a review or rating to show appreciation for their work. You can download LEPA - Palma de Mallorca Airport here.
