Flying Partners Slovakia has released a new scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing Holíč Airport (LZHL) to the virtual skies. Located in the Slovak Republic, Holíč Airport is steeped in history, having played various roles from a military reserve airfield during World War II to its current function as a hub for Aeroklub Holíč and private aviation enthusiasts. The airport’s rich past is reflected in its development over the decades, with expansions following the liberation in 1945 and notable periods of growth in the 1960s and 1980s, when the airfield saw increased hangar construction and fleet additions.

Flying Partners Slovakia's new release offers a highly realistic representation of Holíč Airport, blending detailed textures and custom models to recreate its unique atmosphere. You can expect accurately modeled buildings, including hangars and airplanes, alongside a crafted ortho photo map. The development of this scenery is based on the latest data from the Aeronautical Information Publication of the Slovak Republic (AIP SR), satellite imagery, and on-site research conducted in July 2024, ensuring that the airport's layout, frequencies, taxiways, and overall appearance are faithful to real-world conditions.

Among the notable features are more than 1,600 hand-placed 3D objects, custom ground textures, and a high level of detail across the airport grounds, all while remaining optimized for good performance. Holíč Airport (LZHL) by Flying Partners Slovakia is available for purchase at $6.80 USD (excluding VAT).
