Freds Airports Releases Airfield Leutkirch, Germany

Freds Airports has released EDNL – Airfield Leutkirch for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/24. Situated around 25 kilometers southwest of Memmingen Airport, Leutkirch is well placed as a starting point for flights into the Alps or for exploring Lake Constance, Germany’s largest lake. The airfield itself is modest in size, but it serves as a popular base for light aircraft operations in the region. Its single asphalt runway measures 1,020 meters in length and 20 meters in width, making it suitable for a wide range of general aviation aircraft. Facilities include several hangars, a small control tower, and a café for visitors, all of which are represented in detail in this scenery.

A notable inclusion is Schloss Zeil, the historic castle that overlooks the area and is visible directly from the apron.  Freds Airports has also modeled more than 20 unique buildings across the airfield, with both the control tower and a hangar featuring interior detail. The scenery also incorporates high-resolution PBR textures and custom night lighting to enhance immersion. You can purchase ➡️ EDNL – Airfield Leutkirch from Flightsim.to.
