FSimStudios Nuuk International Airport now available

Nuuk International Airport has received a highly detailed and up-to-date scenery add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024, courtesy of FSimStudios. Nuuk’s airport has undergone significant changes, including a new 2,200-meter runway and a modern terminal, both inaugurated in late November 2024. The airport now serves as Air Greenland’s main base for its A330NEO and Dash 8 fleet, with scheduled flights connecting to Canada, Iceland, and Denmark. By summer 2025, direct flights from Newark and additional European destinations are expected to begin.

FSimStudios’ representation of Nuuk International is based on an extensive in-person survey conducted in early 2025, including 3D scans and airport photography. The result is a highly detailed scenery featuring accurate signage, lighting, and terminal layout. The new terminal's interior and exterior have been carefully modeled, and other airport structures, such as Air Greenland’s headquarters, hangars, and the control tower, have been reproduced with sharp textures and high-poly modeling.

Beyond the airport perimeter, the scenery package includes handcrafted terrain adjustments to reflect the latest topographical changes. Additionally, several key points of interest in Nuuk have been included, such as Nuuk Center, HHE Hotel, Brugseni Shopping Mall, Nuuk Cultural Center, Nuuk Stadium, and even the Nuuk Prison, which is located near the airport.

Nuuk International Airport is now available for purchase on Flightsim.to for $14.99 excluding VAT. Those interested in experiencing this modern Arctic gateway can find more details and obtain the add-on here.
