IAE Engine Update for Fenix A320 Nearing Release
Fenix Simulations, known for their detailed and immersive Fenix Simulations A320 aircraft, has provided an exciting update about their A320 model: The International Aero Engines (IAE) variant of their A320 is in active development and is expected to be released in the coming weeks, rather than months. This development update was accompanied by a first look at the IAE engine model.
The upcoming Block 2 update further includes a remapped cockpit for efficient texture memory usage, new wing and landing gear designs, enhanced tyre compression physics and improved cabin features. Furthermore, the flight deck will feature improved lighting dynamics, including a better dome light and a new LCD simulation, which improves the flying experience at night and overall material improvements across the flight deck. For example, the entire texture set is now using less than 1GB of memory, which is significantly lower than the previous version. The update will also introduce a new wing, wingtip fence, nose, and landing gear design.
