Immersive Lights Expands to Germany and the Netherlands

A new release from the developer behind Immersive Lights London and Los Angeles brings enhanced night lighting to two more regions in Microsoft Flight Simulator. Immersive Lights – Germany & Netherlands is now available on the ⭐ Flightsim.to Store, offering a more realistic lighting experience across both countries based on real-world data.

This payware add-on replaces the default lighting system with accurately placed lights that reflect actual urban and rural infrastructure. The modification covers the entirety of Germany and the Netherlands, providing improved visibility and authenticity during nighttime flights. According to the developer, the lights are not tied to the simulator’s Level of Detail (LOD) system, which means they remain visible even at higher altitudes—something the default lighting often lacks.

The add-on is optimized for performance, as the lights do not cast shadows or ground lighting, reducing the risk of performance drops even in dense urban areas. If you're interested in evaluating the lighting system before purchase, the developer offers a free version featuring London city lights on Flightsim.to. This preview allows you to compare it directly with the default lighting setup. Immersive Lights – Germany & Netherlands is available now on Flightsim.to
