JATSim Designs Releases Rand Airport in South Africa

Rand Airport (FAGM) in Germiston, South Africa, has been recreated for Microsoft Flight Simulator in a new add-on ⭐️ now available on Flightsim.to. Opened in 1931, Rand Airport was originally Johannesburg’s main international gateway and stood out as one of the most advanced airports in the Southern Hemisphere. It played a vital role in commercial and military aviation, hosting Imperial Airways, South African Airways, and serving military operations during World War II. Following the development of Jan Smuts Airport in the 1950s, Rand Airport transitioned into a general aviation hub.

Today, the airport remains an active center for flight training, aircraft maintenance, and is known for hosting regular airshows. It is also home to the South African Airways Museum, which features various aircraft and memorabilia, including two retired Boeing 747s donated in the early 2000s. JATSim Design's new addition aims to recreate Rand Airport with a focus on immersion and activity. The scenery includes custom elements intended to reflect the airport’s historical and operational character.

You can purchase the Rand Airport add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator through Flightsim.to at the following link: FAGM - Rand Airport.
