Jeppeson2001 Releases Niagara Falls City Pack And Heliport
Jeppeson2001 has just released an impressive new add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator - the Niagara Falls City Pack & Heliport. As the name suggests, the add-on includes an amazingly detailed recreation of Niagara Falls and the surrounding city, complete with animated falls, sounds, and lighting effects. Niagara Falls is one of the most iconic natural wonders in North America, spanning the border between Ontario, Canada and New York State, USA. With a vertical drop of over 50m (160 ft), it has the highest flow rate of any waterfall in North America. This incredible scenery area starts at the North Grand Island Bridge and extends down the Niagara River to the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge. POI markers have been added throughout the area to enhance the experience.
The add-on also includes a custom-built Niagara Helicopters Heliport (CPQ3) with a hand-crafted terminal and interior, along with hangar, hangar interior, and animated doors. There are 13 helipads to choose from at the heliport, which is perfect for those who want to explore the area from the air. In addition to the falls and heliport, the add-on also features custom 3D modeled hotels and casinos of the Niagara Falls City skyline, custom animated rapids and rapid textures along the Niagara River, and custom 3D modeled docks on both the USA and Canadian sides. The docks are complete with crowds of tourists queuing to board, rendered in the correct poncho colors for each tour company.
There are plenty of other features to discover too, including animated tourist boats, an animated incline railway, and city cruises funicular railway. There's also an animated zipline, Sky Screamer ride, and Whirlpool Aerocar located at Marineworld, just south of the falls. The add-on even includes an animated freight train that crosses the Whirlpool Rapids Bridge and passes by the heliport. With so many details to explore, this add-on is sure to delight anyone who loves Microsoft Flight Simulator. It's a fantastic recreation of one of North America's most iconic landmarks and the surrounding city.
