Join the VATSIM Cross Africa 2024 Northbound Edition
Building on the success of its Southbound edition, VATSIM's Cross Africa event is back with a Northbound journey scheduled for January 20th, 2024. This event, organized by VATSSA, Maghreb vACC, and Egypt vACC, invites pilots to embark on a virtual flight across Africa and to discover the beauty of Africa's landscapes from above.
Participants can choose from multiple routes, including long-haul flights from Johannesburg to Casablanca or Cairo, and mid-haul flights connecting Dar es Salaam to Cairo or Abuja to Casablanca.

To participate, pilots must book their slots on the VATSSA website. Booking has now been opened for everyone. The event also features giveaways in collaboration with Gaffer Simulations and SimMarket. One of the highlights of the event is the extensive air traffic control coverage that will be available throughout the continent. A dedicated Discord channel is available for further communication and updates.
