The latest update to the Leros Municipal Airport add-on by Pongratz Pagel brings a realistic recreation of the airport for Microsoft Flight Simulator. The add-on stands out for its use of PBR (Physically Based Rendering) materials, while the update also includes detailed recreations of the Moor & Dock and Artemis shipyards, which are located near the airport, along with fishing farms and sailing ships visible on the approach to runway 14.
The recent update 1.3 introduces several enhancements and fixes that improve the overall experience. Among the notable changes are corrections to the wet ground textures, which now properly reflect rainy conditions, and adjustments to runway markings, including the displaced threshold, which now displays correctly. The update also restores 3D grass across all airport areas, an issue that arose in the previous update. Furthermore, more boats have been added to the small harbors around the airport, including new models of Greek fishing vessels. Additional improvements include the addition of 3D models of landing stages in these harbors and various terrain adjustments to better reflect the topography of the area.
