LivToAir has released a new update for its Cessna Citation CJ3+ add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing several functional and visual improvements to the aircraft. The CJ3+ is a modern light business jet developed by Cessna, known for its efficient performance, Garmin G3000 avionics, and capacity for up to nine passengers. Designed for both comfort and versatility, the aircraft is suited for single-pilot operations and features a range of approximately 2,040 nautical miles. The CJ3+ is an evolution of the earlier CJ3 model, offering upgraded cockpit systems and refined handling.

LivToAir’s rendition of the aircraft includes a custom flight model, a range of liveries, custom Wwise sound implementation, simulated circuit breakers, and a detailed EFB with support for SimBrief, Navigraph, and other utility pages. Update 1.0.2, released on July 13, 2025, introduces a new winglets variant and addresses a range of bugs and systems logic. Anti-ice functionality now requires engine N2 levels above 75%, and lighting for the glareshield window anti-ice indicators has been corrected. Several cockpit features have been improved or fixed, including the clock in the EFB, AC logic, and previously unresolved electrical behavior where the GPU could power avionics without the main battery being turned on.

Systems depth has also been expanded, with roughly 70% of the circuit breakers now functional. The weather radar and pitot warning systems have been fixed, along with issues related to master warning and caution buttons. Visual fidelity has been enhanced through improvements to the 3D model and corrected contrails and heatblur effects. Additionally, five new liveries are now available.
The Citation CJ3+ by LivToAir is available as a payware add-on for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020 and 2024. You can find more information or purchase the aircraft ⭐️ via the Flightsim.to Store.
