Marine RM Releases 3 New Boats for MSFS
Developer Marine RM has recently unveiled three distinct vessels for Microsoft Flight Simulator.
Mega Yacht Poseidon
The Poseidon Mega Yacht, touted as the most luxurious yacht in MSFS's history, boasts an Azzam European design accommodating 30 crew members. Powered by two General Electric LM2500+G4 diesel engines, it claims a total horsepower of 24,000. Although it advertises a maximum speed of 27 knots, a current limitation in MSFS caps it at 14 knots to maintain realistic wave interactions. Users can explore its four decks and control a vast array of lighting options through a digital panel on the bridge. The product is available here.
ASD Tug Boat
This modern, dual-fuel vessel is built for extreme conditions, functioning efficiently even at 20 degrees below zero. Its two Wärtsilä 6L34DF engines deliver a substantial power to its azimuthal propellers. Capable of multiple roles like escort tug, firefighting, and oil recovery, the tug boat provides operational flexibility. The command bridge with a 360-degree view and accommodation for eight crew members enhances its appeal for diverse maritime operations. The product is available here.
45ft Lagoon Catamaran
The Lagoon 450 Catamaran brings a detailed sailing simulation to MSFS. Its integrated multifunction tablet allows for a slew of controls including anchor activation, deck material adjustments, and more. The 13 color options for customization, highly detailed passenger models, and exceptional lighting controls enrich the sailing experience. Though the sails are decorative, the motorized vessel ensures an engaging nautical adventure. The product is available here.
