MarineRM has released the ➡️ Chengdu J-10S for Microsoft Flight Simulator, bringing one of China’s most recognizable modern fighters to us. Known in service as the Vigorous Dragon, the J-10S is the two-seat, tandem variant of the single-seat J-10A, designed for advanced training and as a lead-in fighter for multirole operations. Introduced into service with the People’s Liberation Army Air Force (PLAAF) in 2006, the J-10S retains the sleek delta-canard configuration of its predecessor, offering a balance of high-speed agility and refined control during high angle-of-attack flight.

The aircraft’s enlarged dorsal spine houses additional avionics and mission systems, while the rear seat allows for a dedicated weapons systems officer during complex strike or air-to-air missions. MarineRM’s adaptation features improved flight physics, a fully functional autopilot, and an easy cold start procedure through its integrated MFD interface. The aircraft includes animated weapon bays, a detailed 3D cockpit with functional HUD and MFDs, and night lighting suited for both training and operational-style missions. Despite the visual fidelity, MarineRM emphasizes that the J-10S is not designed as a study-level simulation but rather as a visually rich, performance-friendly jet focused on smooth gameplay across platforms.

Eighteen liveries are included, covering various PLAAF and PLANAF schemes along with export-style options inspired by Pakistan’s use of the J-10 family. Textures are rendered in 4K PBR quality, and optimized sound design rounds out the package. MarineRM furthermore notes that the project was developed in parallel with their J-36, and as such, the two aircraft share cockpit and system similarities.
The MarineRM Chengdu J-10S is available now on the ➡️Flightsim.to Store. If you are interested in modern fighter jets and enjoy a mix of visual quality and accessible systems depth, this release may be worth exploring.
