A new freeware scenery project created by bigsquidaus brings Port Lincoln Airport into Microsoft Flight Simulator. Located on South Australia’s Eyre Peninsula, Port Lincoln Airport plays an important role in connecting the region with Adelaide and other parts of the country. Surrounded by ocean views and rural landscapes, the airport handles a mix of regular passenger transport and general aviation activity, serving as a key hub for regional travel on the southern coast.

Although still a work-in-progress, the scenery already includes custom terminal buildings, hangars, updated textures, and handcrafted elements that reflect the character of this regional airport. Version 0.7.1.1 introduces several visual and structural improvements. These include fenced boundary areas, the addition of a construction site near the highway, improved apron and ground textures, and expanded vegetation coverage alongside new static vehicles.
Further development is planned, with future updates expected to enhance night lighting, vegetation detail, and possibly interior modeling. Feedback from the community is welcomed and encouraged to help shape ongoing improvements. You can download the scenery ⭐ for free on Flightsim.to.
