Paine Field, Everett - New revisions to Freeware Airfield

Paine Field is a popular airfield located in Everett, Washington. It is a general aviation airport with a rich history and a strong connection to the aerospace industry. Paine Field is home to the Boeing Everett Factory, which is the largest building in the world by volume. The airport also serves as a base for various aviation museums and flight schools. Thanks to the dedication of Community creator FreakyD, Paine Field has been brought to life in Microsoft Flight Simulator. The creator has been continuously updating and revising the scenery since its initial release in 2020. The latest updates, V3.9 and V3.9.01, have brought numerous improvements and additions to the already impressive scenery.

Among the updates are various revisions to the airport's buildings and structures, including the addition of functioning wigwag lights leading out of the Boeing flightline, details added to Boeing paint hangar models, and revised textures on the Boeing 40-88 roof. The author has also added new ground textures throughout the airfield, including the Boeing Flightline, passenger terminal, grass, taxiway stripes, parking lots, and sewer drains. Furthermore, the author has added new library assets, corrected terraform/height issues, and created a new helipad port, WA82. The WA82 helipad port allows players to select it from the map and start a flight from that position. However, pilots who want to start their flight from the commercial airport should select Gate A1, A2, or A3 from the map.

Paine Field is an excellent addition to the Microsoft Flight Simulator community, and the author's dedication to updating and improving the scenery is highly commendable. Update today.
