Project MAX has released a detailed rendition of Sam Ratulangi International Airport (WAMM) for Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020/24, bringing the main gateway of North Sulawesi to life. Situated northeast of Manado, this airport plays a vital role in regional and international air travel. Named after the renowned educator and independence hero Sam Ratulangi, it serves as a hub for Lion Air and Wings Air, with Garuda Indonesia and Citilink also using it as a key focus city. Additionally, the airport provides access to the popular Bunaken National Marine Park. Following a significant expansion completed in mid-2021, the terminal now spans 56,000 square meters, doubling its original capacity.

Project MAX’s scenery for Sam Ratulangi International Airport introduces a highly immersive experience with custom ground polygons, accurately capturing the airport’s markings and layout. The developers have also modeled the airport’s landside in detail, including roads and nearby surroundings. Both the landside and airside areas feature high-resolution PBR textures in 4K and 2K. Priced at $10 USD (excluding VAT), this payware add-on might be of interested for those interested in exploring northeastern Indonesia. You can purchase and download the scenery from Flightsim.to.
