Phitsanulok Airport (IATA: PHS, ICAO: VTPP) is an important regional airport situated just three kilometers from the center of Phitsanulok City in Thailand’s Phitsanulok Province. Managed by Thailand’s Department of Airports under the Ministry of Transport, Phitsanulok began as a Royal Thai Air Force base in 1941, primarily for fighter and bomber operations. Over time, its role expanded to accommodate both military and commercial aviation, and in 1991 it was designated a customs airport, positioning it as a gateway for regional air travel. The airport features a main terminal able to accommodate 1,000 passengers, split evenly for incoming and outgoing traffic, and an extensive 3,000-meter runway that supports Airbus A320 operations, equipped with advanced navigational aids.

SiamFlight recreates this historic and active airport in high detail. In its first release, the scenery includes an accurately modeled main terminal with detailed interiors visible from a pilot’s perspective, custom animated jetways that replicate the real airport’s functionality, and numerous other unique features. Military zones, such as the 461st Squadron hangars and Army apron, are included alongside civilian areas, offering a full representation of the airport's layout. The add-on also features hand-placed taxiway guidance signs and a lighting system to ensure both visual accuracy and operational reliability.

Phitsanulok’s surrounding infrastructure, including a weather station, fire and rescue stations, and the Royal Rain Maker Center, are represented, as are several auxiliary buildings for military and civil operations. A custom ground texture and static objects complete the immersive environment, while navigational aids such as ILS, DME, VOR, and PAPI lights are implemented for realistic landing approaches and taxiing.
