Taog's Hangar Updates SA316B - Alouette III

Taog's Hangar has introduced version 1.2.0 of the SA316B - Alouette III for Microsoft Flight Simulator, packed with a host of exciting features and improvements. Pilots can now take to the virtual skies with an enhanced flight model, expanded attachments, customizable options, and an immersive audiovisual experience. Let's delve into the details of this  update. Taog's Hangar has collaborated closely with real-world pilots to refine the Alouette III's flight model. As a result, the latest update offers increased anti-torque pedal authority. Pilots will notice improved control and responsiveness. Version 1.2.0 of the Alouette III introduces a range of new attachments and accessories that enhance the helicopter's versatility. Pilots now have access to a new right side bucket attachment, providing added functionality and increasing the helicopter's usefulness for various missions. Additionally, a non-functional OMERA ORB-32 radar attachment has been added both inside and outside the cabin, further enhancing the aircraft's realistic visual appeal. With the inclusion of an engine cover attachment and the possibility to remove doors individually, pilots have more control over customizing the aircraft to suit their preferences.

Taog's Hangar has gone above and beyond to ensure a visually stunning and immersive experience within the Alouette III cockpit. The update introduces a range of new 3D models, textures, and liveries. Pilots can expect a detailed winch, upper panel, and various objects around the cabin. Moreover, the addition of new liveries, including Intermountain Flight and two from the Portugal Air Force, allows pilots to add a touch of personalization to their aircraft. Taog's Hangar has incorporated new panel and cabin lighting. The update also features a brand-new sound package, including an improved startup sequence and ambient sounds within the cabin.

Various minor issues related to the cabin structure and canopy edges have also been addressed. Attention to detail extends to the accuracy of key instruments and components. Navigation lights, voltmeter, and turbine temperature gauge (T4) now display the correct values. The in-game checklist has been fixed and is fully functional.
