CoolGunS has released a significant update for YBRO - Bruce Rock Airport, situated in the eastern Wheatbelt region of Western Australia. Approximately 243 kilometers east of Perth and 48 kilometers southwest of Merredin, Bruce Rock is the principal town in the Shire of Bruce Rock and lies roughly midway between Perth and Kalgoorlie Airport. This latest update, version 3.4, brings a complete rebuild of the airfield to ensure it meets high-quality standards.
The enhancements include custom multi-layered ground textures and the addition of a General Aviation (GA) hangar. The apron and runway have been reworked, and new objects have been added while outdated ones have been removed. Additionally, Microsoft Flight Simulator artifacts, shadows, and blotches have been eliminated to provide a clean visual experience. The nearby grain silo has been reconstructed, complete with added vehicles, enhancing the realism of the scenery. Helicopter pilots will appreciate the hidden parking spot beneath the helistart (Parking 100).
