FlightSimExpo 2024: New Venue. Same Dates, Same City.

After facing the challenge of finding a new venue due to the impending closure of the Tropicana Las Vegas in April this year, it is confirmed that FlightSimExpo 2024 will be held at The Rio in Las Vegas from 21-23 June 2024. Following extensive discussions and community input, including a survey with over 600 respondents, Rio Las Vegas emerged as the preferred venue, with 77% of participants recommending it.

Attendees are advised to hold off on booking accommodations at Rio until the official booking link is made available on the FlightSimExpo website. Those who had previously booked at Tropicana will receive instructions on transitioning their reservations, including a full refund of room deposits and a $25 rideshare voucher for travel from the airport to Rio. Rooms at Rio are $149 on Friday and Saturday, and $69 on other nights, plus taxes and fees — less than the original room block rate at Tropicana. Due to data privacy regulations, it won’t be possible to transfer reservations directly.

Courtesy of Tropicana, FlightSimExpo attendees who book at Rio Las Vegas using the official discounted room link will enjoy a $25 credit per booked room toward food and beverage at the venue.
